Your Move Consultant

Your journey with Allied begins when our Move Consultant visits your home. This is an important stage as it allows us to:

• Understand your requirements and any particular concerns that you may have
• Guide you through the relocation process, and provide suggestions on how we can tailor solutions at each stage of the move to suit your requirements
• Begin to outline a plan of how Allied will handle your move from start to finish 

Your Move Coordinator

Your Move Coordinator will be your primary contact during your move as well as the central facilitator throughout your relocation.  Their responsibility to you includes:

• Pre-planning your move, taking into account the requirements you have discussed with the Move Consultant
• Ensuring that all processes are managed in a timely way, from arranging packing crews to transportation and enrollment in our protection plan

Your Crew Supervisor

Your Crew Supervisor will be present throughout the move and will manage the process from your current home to your next.  If there are aspects of the packing that you would like to provide input on, be it the order of packing or how a particular item is packed, then the Crew Supervisor will ensure that your requests are communicated to the packing crew.

Safeguarding Your Possessions

Your treasured possessions are as invaluable. We’ll help you choose the best shipment options to keep your belongings safe, and we’ll walk you through the key points of deciding on the best protection options available.

With Allied, you can rest assured that in the unlikely event that you have to file a claim, you’ll have the assistance of a professional from our in-house claims department. These claims experts are trained to walk you through all the paperwork and ensure timely processing.

Need some extra help?

From moving a classic car to having pictures hung in your new house, Allied has a wide range of value-added services that covers the point of origin to the destination. 

Storage Services

Are you moving into a smaller place, or do you want to use the move as an opportunity to de-clutter your new home? Allied provides long-term storage solutions for possessions that you want to hang on to for use in the future, but just don’t have room for now. 

Cleaning and Handyman Services 

Your Move Coordinator can help arrange for both housekeeping and handyman services either during the packing or at the unpacking at destination. Commonly requested services are:

• Housecleaning and basic maintenance such as filling holes made by picture hooks prior to handing a property back to a landlord
• Cleaning of your new house prior to moving in and unpacking
• Hanging of pictures or assembly of modular furniture in your new house 

Vehicle and Pet Transportation

Some sensitive articles such as vehicles and pets can prove to present a significant challenge during a move. As such, Allied will be glad to provide you with solutions to transport your vehicles and pets, whilst ensuring their safety and integrity.

Relocation Services

While you prepare to finalize your move, there may be some loose ends to tie up or some arrangement which you’ve overlooked. Locating homes and schools in good areas for your children are just some of the other services our network of specialists can provide.
